Electric Ladyland

I was drawing pictures before I could paint.Those drawings were finely detailed and full of emotion but always in black and white. One day I discovered watercolor and added it, for the first time to this drawing titled "Electric Ladyland" after the epic Jimmy Hendrix album. However, I held back on painting the whole thing in color thinking I would ruin it somehow and only painted the bubbles. I love the whole psychedelic feel of the picture and the incredible amount of detail. Its unfortunate that I didn't know about archival paper in those days and the paper I used for this drawing has since yellowed. My plan is to paint this again on good Arches 300 lb paper and to make another visual feast of it.
